LastCall Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
LastCall helps people find current happy hours, food specials, and events nearby. We designed the service to work without a consumer account and to collect only what is needed for the features a person chooses to use.
Information we process
- Location: With permission, the app uses location to request nearby deals and sort them by distance. It also uses a one-time coordinate to confirm that a person submitting a Crowd Pulse report is near the venue. Coordinates are processed for the request and discarded; they are not saved in a location-history or pulse-report table. Optional proximity alerts use Apple's region monitoring on the device.
- Community content: Deals, corrections, confirmations, reports, and short-lived Crowd Pulse updates you submit are shared to keep listings useful. An anonymous contributor token supports blocking and moderation. Verified venue owners may publish a short-lived live-scene update.
- Shared plans: If you share a night plan, its title, stops, meetup time, anonymous votes, and optional RSVP first names and statuses are stored for up to 30 days. Private owner, voter, and attendee tokens are hashed or kept on-device.
- Optional contact information: Email is collected only when you join a waitlist, ask for a reply to beta feedback, or claim a venue. Venue claims also include a contact name.
- Optional beta feedback: A message and category are stored when you send feedback. You control whether to add email and coarse diagnostics such as app/iOS version, connection state, and whether Apple supplied a recent diagnostic report.
- Anonymous product analytics: If enabled, LastCall sends first-party aggregate events such as app opens, tab views, refresh outcomes, and feature use. These events include no user, device, or session identifier; no location or search text; and no venue, favorite, check-in, or browsing history. You can disable analytics in Profile → Privacy & Feedback.
Information kept on your device
Favorites, check-ins, taste settings, notification preferences, personal night plans, and cached venue data remain on your device unless you explicitly share or submit something.
Service providers
Cloudflare Workers process API requests and Neon stores shared service data. Apple provides maps and device services. Yelp provides venue facts and photos. LastCall does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not sell personal data.
Retention and choices
Aggregate analytics are retained as daily counts. Crowd Pulse reports expire after 90 minutes, and verified-owner live-scene updates expire after no more than 12 hours. Shared plans and their RSVPs expire after 30 days. Feedback, waitlist entries, community moderation records, and verified owner records are kept as needed to operate and protect the service. You can revoke location or notification access in iOS Settings, disable analytics in the app, delete local app data by removing the app, and request deletion of submitted personal information by email.
Children and alcohol-related content
LastCall is intended for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed to children under 13. Always confirm a special with the venue and drink responsibly.
